Pet Health Log — Privacy Policy (English)

Last updated: April 20, 2026

This policy describes how Pet Health Log (the “App”) handles information. Our goal is to be clear and minimal.

1. Summary

2. Data stored on your device

The App may store, among other things:

This data remains on the device unless you export it or delete it using in-app controls (such as “Clear all data”).

3. Export and share

When you export a ZIP backup, the App prepares a file on your device and may open the system share sheet. Any app or service you pick there is governed by that provider’s privacy practices, not this policy.

4. Network access (shell / configuration)

Some builds may perform limited network activity when the App starts or resumes—for example, to confirm network permission, resolve configuration, or similar non-journal operations. That activity does not replace local storage of your entries; it is described here so it is not confused with “uploading your diary” by default.

If your build differs, update this section to match what your engineering team actually ships.

5. Camera and photo library

If you attach photos, the App may request access to the camera and photo library only as needed for you to choose or capture images. Images you attach are handled like other local files described above.

6. Children’s privacy

The App is not directed at children. Parents or guardians should supervise use if a device is shared with minors.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Material changes should be reflected in your App Store privacy disclosures as well.
